Scholastic Book Fairs   Book Fairs at the Elementary School and Middle School are coordinated and staffed by the PTSO, along with parent volunteers.  The PTSO arranges for Scholastic books and book carts to be delivered, with PTSO volunteers setting up the Elementary School and Middle Schools book fairs.   Book Fairs are open during school hours, for a short time following dismissal, and for evening hours on one or two nights (often in conjunction with fall elementary school and middle school open houses).   The PTSO sponsors three Elementary and two Middle School Book Fairs each year.   Book Fairs are staffed by PTSO parent volunteers. On average, 35 parents volunteer at least 2 hours of their time at each Elementary Book Fair and about 20 parents volunteer at the Middle School.   The PTSO donates $10 in books to each classroom during every Elementary School book fair and $150 in books to the Elementary School Library.  In addition to those books, the PTSO also gives about $400 in educational products to the Elementary and Middle schools each year.   => view pictures
