=====Old Business=====
Sweatshirt Order Report
– Frances Pollack & Angy Golden
(Income $3179, expenses $3052, profit $126, with some inventory left)
Some people reported missing items or wrong sizes.
Outcome/Decision: 1) perhaps staple shirts in grocery bag to prevent any potential switching or "snitching"
and well as continued efforts to double check orders when sorting.
It was noted that Kleins, our supplier, is going out of business.
Outcome/Decision: 1) Cathy Nelson will try to get artwork from Kleins before it closes.  2) Amy Boardman
has a replacement supplier in mind for next year.

PIP (Nov. 1st) Report - Harriett Giannelis - Only about 20 parents attended PIP on 4th grade Regents
testing which was aimed at 3rd & 4th grade parents.
Outcome/Decision: If presented again, should consider 1) scheduling before October parent-teacher
conferences, 2) changing focus to curriculum from testing, and 3) incorporate more 3rd grade curriculum
information since NYS will be testing 3rd graders too.

MS Activity Night (Nov. 5) Report - Robin Steel & Vicky Myers
There was a large turnout of 140 students and it took quite awhile to sign in the students.  Discussion
focused on whether if additional security was needed for this event and other events like the 7th/8th grade
dances.  It was noted that volunteers should wear gloves when serving food.
Outcome/Decision:  Deb Cretney will talk with Principal John Gizzi regarding his view of current security for
Middle School Activity Nights and Dances to determine the extent of the PTSO's responsibility for student
security.

Board of Education Dinner Report (Nov. 18, 6pm) - Dorothy Debbie
A wonderful dinner was provided by Ann Miller of King Ferry Inn for $13 per person; the bill hasn't been
received yet.  Anne Miller also set up and cleaned up for the dinner which was served in the Middle School
Special Services room (across from the office).  Michaleen's Florist & Garden Center provided the flowers.

Thanksgiving Feast Report (Nov. 17) - June Losurdo & Shelly Matheny
Total of 900 guests and children were served, which is less than previous years because there are less
children than previous years.  The meal schedule was adjusted slightly to allow more time for the singing
portion of the lunch periods.

Create-A-Craft Report (Dec. 4th 10am-2pm) - Amy Boardman & June Losurdo
About 50 people attended.  There were 8 adults and 7 students who volunteered their time to help.  The
event had a profit of $245, since only a few new items were purchased and the rest of the offered items
were used from previous years' inventory.

Tops Receipts Collection Ending! Status - Lisa Farr
Since we only have $10,000 so far and need a minimum of $20,000 to submit receipts, the receipts we
have, if they don't reach the $20,000 minimum, will be given to Immaculate Conception School so that the
receipts don't go to waste.

=====New Business=====
